Yes, the applications are now represented as groups. For innovation-licensed applications, the members of the app group are the BPIds that that app is permitted to assert.

Documentation will need to be updated to reflect this.

Keith, is the document you referenced earlier today still correct given the current approach agreed upon between you and Fernando re: the role of local entities, attributes, and groups in implementing/persisting the 'application catalog' data in Grouper?

I may be conflating the new approach I do see described in #4 with the procedure for creating the local entity described in #3. If the document is correct & current, I apologize for my confusion.

However, I thought we agreed that a GROUP would represent the application, so that (in the case of INNOVATION_LICENSED apps particularly) it can be populated with appropriately-related BPIDs.
